Arjowiggins Graphic, the leader in the development of environmental paper solutions, is a preferred partner for HP Indigo Commercial presses. HP Indigo uses Arjowiggins Graphic papers as one of the preferred papers used in their demo centre’s and trade shows on the HP Indigo 10000.
HP Indigo 10000 customers use Maine Gloss and Satimat because of the product consistency and performance.
This B2 digital press, which launched in Spring 2012, is a breakthrough in digital print technology, processing sheets up to 75 cm wide. It can print an output of 4,600 colour sheets per hour, which allows for over two million sheets a month. This makes the HP Indigo 10000 the most productive digital sheet-fed press currently on the market.
This close business arrangement comes as part of a longstanding collaboration between HP and Arjowiggins Graphic. Recycled Papers manufactured by Arjowiggins Graphic have received the HP Indigo Commercial press certification. In addition an on going research partnership with HP earlier this year continues with the study of de-inking printed materials from HP Indigo and HP Inkjet digital presses.
Since the Launch of the HP Indigo 10000 in 2012, the presses have been installed all across Europe and the rest of the world. The printing industries acceptance of this technology has been remarkable and the rapid placement of these digital presses continues to expand into the traditional commercial printing industry.
John Cooper, Customer Support Director, Arjowiggins Graphic, commented:
“Developing and creating papers suited for the HP Indigo Digital Commercial Presses allows us an excellent opportunity that will benefit customers and promote the importance of both virgin fibre and recycled papers in digital printing. This way of printing has many positive aspects such as reducing energy usage, cost and emissions. So, by being able to provide compatible papers with one of the most robust designs on the markets means that we can work together, allowing HP Indigo’s customers to print high volumes at an unprecedented high speed and making non-stop printing possible.”
As one of the first printers in the UK to purchase an HP Indigo 10000 digital press, Richard Owers, Marketing Director, Pureprint Group explains:
“The redesigned ink eco-system on the HP Indigo 10000 press means increased productivity and efficiency. As well as recognising these benefits to print production we also recognise that using recycled papers with HP Indigo Digital presses, such as those produced by Arjowiggins Graphic, supports recycling as an important part of the digital lifecycle.”
