Arjowiggins Graphic, the leading manufacturer of environmental paper solutions, is a key sponsor of new exhibition Ritual Without Myth, which opens at the Royal College of Art on the 9th March.
Final-year students studying the ‘Curating Contemporary Art’ master’s degree at the Royal College of Art have put the exhibition together as the finale to their course. Ritual Without Myth includes work from a number of artists who have never been exhibited in the UK before, and focuses on the idea that the process of ritual can be used to create a transformative experience in the viewer.
Highly acclaimed global artists on show include Erick Beltrán, Danai Anesuadiou, Ioana Nemes, Joachim Koester, Patrizio Di Massimo, and Amalia Pica.
Arjowiggins Graphic has provided Cyclus Offset 100% recycled paper for all the marketing materials for the exhibition. This includes 2,000 gallery guides, 1,000 catalogues of the art on show and 100 posters that will be distributed across London to promote the exhibition. The materials also include bespoke Environmental Benefit Statements, which show the savings made by choosing to print on Cyclus recycled paper rather than virgin fibre stock.
Egle Kulbokaite, one of the students curating the exhibition, comments on the selection of Cyclus for their materials:
“We chose Cyclus Offset for our exhibition Ritual Without Myth because we are aware of the benefits, of using recycled paper. We are very glad to be able to contribute to reducing our environmental impact, by minimising CO2 and greenhouse gas emissions, as well as saving on water, wood, energy and landfill. We are very pleased by the outstanding quality that Cyclus Offset 100% recycled paper has provided for our catalogue, it’s a perfect choice for this type of publication because of its shade, excellent opacity and texture.”
Angela De Vorchik, Marketing Manager at Arjowiggins Graphic comments:
“It is a great pleasure to assist in bringing these works of art to the UK for the first time. We hope that the exhibition is a great source of inspiration to those who attend and wish the students at the Royal College of Arts all the best with their futures in the world of curating fine arts.”
