Cocoon papers selected to showcase next generation of Ricoh printers
Arjowiggins Graphic has been working with Ricoh Europe as the company launches its new Pro™ C9100, Pro™ VC60000 and Pro™ C7100X printers.
Commissioning an exclusive copy of ‘The Real Mad Men’ book, Ricoh Europe illustrated the breadth of technologies and capabilities of their new and existing digital printers. Arjowiggins Graphic’s 100% recycled Cocoon Silk and Cocoon Jet Pro papers were used to print the book, based on the popular television programme ‘Mad Men’.
The cover, using Cocoon Silk 300gsm, was printed on the new Ricoh Pro C7110SX, a high-end production dry toner printer that was recently launched. The text pages were printed using a Ricoh InfoPrint 5000 continuous feed inkjet printer on Cocoon Jet Pro 120gsm.
Delivering a premium print with perfect colour execution, the combined production successfully showed how a digital print can deliver a quality alternative to offset printing, especially for short print runs and personalisation, whilst retaining the overall quality of the product.
The innovative, extra white Cocoon paper range, is created using pioneering production methods and manufactured from 100% FSC® certified* recycled de-inked pulp.
