Danone confirms its choice of Cocoon recycled paper for its Reference Document
As part of its corporate, societal and environmental initiatives, and for the second year running, global agro-food company Danone has chosen the 100% recycled Cocoon Silk paper to create its annual reference document. Incorporating important financial, legal and CSR information, this official document of over 300 pages is delivered to shareholders at the annual general meeting.

confirmed Dominique Duby, Danone’s IFRS Director of standards.
The Cocoon Silk recycled paper has a particularly impressive smooth surface as well as delivering exceptional brightness. Dominique Duby confirms that “feedback has been very positive”, particularly on the flawless rendering of the colours and the excellent whiteness of the paper which is key, since the reference document is printed in duotone. These qualities mean that, in addition to being aesthetically pleasing, the paper allows a great deal of freedom in the use of different diagrams and graphics, which are very easy to read. First used in 2016 for the 2015 reference document, the company confirmed its choice of Cocoon Silk in 2017 for the 2016 edition.
Cocoon Silk is a 100% recycled paper awarded 5 stars by the Green Star System, an environmental ranking tool which takes into consideration essential information on the origin of the fibre used and the manufacturing process. The system assigns each paper an evaluation based on a number of stars, ranging from 0 to 5 depending on the paper’s environmental performance.
