This video has been created to highlight the fact that all paper sent to landfill emits methane – a greenhouse gas that is 20 times more potent than carbon dioxide.
Manufacturing one tonne of 100% recycled paper emits almost half the Methane and CO2 as paper produced from virgin fibres.
Recycling paper therefore not only helps preserve the world’s natural resources but also has a wider environmental impact of reducing greenhouse gas emissions, which are widely believed to contribute to global warming.
If you are wondering just how did we get the paper to pass gas then all can now be revealed! After so much positive feedback from the video we thought it only fair to show you exactly how we made it.
