Arjowiggins Graphic, a leading manufacturer of environmental paper solutions, has developed a range of papers especially for the luxury bag market. The new addition to Arjowiggins Graphic portfolio, entitled ‘Pack’, will offer a selection of recycled and non-recycled papers.
This is the first time the company has ventured in to this sector and will offer specifiers a large selection of papers that include 100% FSC certified recycled Cyclus and Cocoon papers and coated Maine 1 face papers. The papers are available in a range of finishes including matt, gloss, high white and natural white.
Arjowiggins Graphic is now one of a very limited number of manufacturers in Europe to offer papers for the luxury bag market, and manufacturing the wide range of recycled and non-recycled papers in France will help European retailers to source sustainable bags from within the same continent.
The 100% recycled FSC certified paper bags can also play a significant role in enhancing a businesses environmental credentials, offering a sustainable alternative to plastic substrate bags. Switching to 100% recycled bags can help luxury retailers to reach CSR objectives and can ensure their environmental commitments are showcased to consumers.
Arjowiggins Graphic’s Environmental Benefit Statement (EBS), which displays a calculation of the savings in wood, water, energy, carbon dioxide and greenhouse gases made by printing on Arjowiggins Graphic recycled paper, can be printed on the recycled paper in the Pack range to provide retailers and consumers with detail on the benefits of using recycled paper.
Julian Long, National Key Account Manager at Arjowiggins Graphic UK, said:
